Anthony Granato founded GamePrep Baseball Academy in 2011 and possesses an unparalleled wealth of baseball experience and knowledge through his playing and coaching career. Anthony was an associate scout for the Atlanta Braves Major League baseball organization, the Head Varsity baseball coach at Sacred Heart Preparatory for 7 years until, is currently the Hitting/Infield Coach at Skyline College, and is the National Infield Coordinator for Program15s New Balance Future Stars Series.
As a professional baseball player for 10 years with the Chicago Cubs and Colorado Rockies organizations, Independent baseball organizations, and International professional organizations, Anthony has gained expertise in many aspects of the game. Prior to his professional playing career Anthony was an All-State Junior College Shortstop at Skyline College, where he won the state batting title back to back years hitting over .500 in two seasons and earned a Division 1 athletic scholarship to Virginia Commonwealth University. At Virginia Commonwealth University, Anthony was selected to NCAA D1 All-American team his senior year and obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.

Mike Leishman brings over 20 years of coaching and playing experience to GamePrep Baseball Academy. With a strong background as both a player and a coach, Mike has developed players at various levels of the game, from college and high school, all the way down to little league, and he currently serves as the Freshman Pitching Coach at Serra High School.
As a professional player, Mike spent 3 years in Independent professional baseball, in both the Frontier League and California Golden League. Before his pro career, Mike was a standout pitcher at Skyline College, where he earned All-State honors and led all California Community College pitchers in strikeouts. He received a D1 scholarship to Virginia Commonwealth University, where he was a starting pitcher on the 2003 staff that ranked #1 in NCAA D1 in ERA. Mike was a part of back to back Conference Championships and NCAA Regional appearances at VCU, while receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Business Management.
Chris Miguel was a 4 year varsity starter at Sacred Heart Cathedral as a 3B/RHP where he was named the San Francisco Player of the Year in 2011. Chris began his collegiate playing career at Canada College in 2013 where he played for 2 years and received a baseball scholarship to Rogers State University, where he was named Heartland Conference Player of the Year, Heartland Conference 1st-Team Second Baseman, All South Central Region 1st-Team Second Baseman, and 1st-Team All-American. Chris still holds the single game hits record for the Rogers State University program.
Coach Miguel spent 2021 as an assistant coach for Canada College where he worked with the infielders and hitters, while coaching 3rd base and assisting in the recruiting process. In the summers of 2021 & 2022, Coach Miguel also served as the hitting coach for the Duluth Huskies (MN) in the Northwoods Collegiate Summer League, one of the top collegiate summer leagues in the country. Coach Miguel has worked with MLB Draft picks from the 2021 & 2022 Huskies seasons include SS Kristian Campbell (Boston Red Sox), SS Devin Hurdle (Texas Rangers), 3B Mike Boeve (Milwaukee Brewers).
Coach Miguel is currently in his 2nd season at Skyline College. He works with both the infielders and outfielders on both sides of the ball, holds the responsibility of 3rd base coach, and is also the recruiting coordinator.
Jason Zachos played his High School baseball at Serra HS in San Mateo and later began his college baseball career at Canada College. At Canada Jason was a two way player both pitching and playing oufield for the Colts. After his two seasons at Canada Jason earned a Division I Scholarship to the University of San Francisco where he was converted to a full time pitcher for the Dons.
Jason began coaching in GamePrep in 2018 and has coached both high school and youth players as a head coach and private instructor. Jason began coaching at Sacred Heart Cathedral HS in San Francisco in 2024, where he is the head coach of the freshman team and assists as the pitching coach for the Varsity team.
Sean Prozell is a peninsula native who began his high school play at Serra and later transferred to Carlmont, where he earned PAL and San Mateo Daily Journal player of the year honors. After leading his high school team to back to back conference championships hitting .367 and going 11-1 on the mound with an 0.79 ERA, Sean continued to thrive at the plate and on the mound at the College of San Mateo. He earned first team All-NorCal Utility player honors his freshman year and Conference Pitcher of the Year Honors his sophomore year. Sean earned a scholarship to San Jose State University, where he was a two year starter his junior and senior years.
Since finishing his playing career at SJSU, Sean came on board with GamePrep in 2022, and has been working with our youth and high school players both on the mound and with their offensive skills. Sean has a passion for coaching players and helping develop their competitiveness and varying skills sets.
